Service / Lawncare

Healthy turf, season after season.

Lawncare built around soil biology — not just a sharp mowing line. Every program below is run by the same crew, on a schedule we build with you at the start of the season.

Stand-on aerator pulling cores across a healthy residential lawn
01 / Spring & Fall

Core Aeration

Mechanical core aeration pulls thousands of plugs to relieve compaction, open pathways for water and nutrients, and wake the soil biology under your turf.

  • Stand-on aerator with hollow tines, ~3" cores
  • Two-direction passes on compacted or high-traffic zones
  • Sprinkler heads and utilities flagged before service
  • Best paired with overseeding the same day
02 / Spring

Dethatching

When the spongy thatch layer climbs past half an inch it starves the crowns of light, water, and air. We pull it out so new growth has somewhere to go.

  • Power rake or vertical mower depending on turf density
  • Full debris haul-off — nothing left behind
  • Recommended every 2–3 years for cool-season lawns
  • Followed by overseeding into freshly exposed soil
03 / Late Summer – Early Fall

Overseeding

A premium cool-season blend matched to your sun and soil conditions, dropped into freshly aerated or dethatched turf for real soil-to-seed contact.

  • Custom turf-type tall fescue / Kentucky bluegrass / fine fescue blends
  • Slit-seeder application for bare or thin areas
  • Starter fertilizer and watering schedule provided
  • Follow-up walk at 3 weeks to confirm establishment
04 / Spring & Fall

Lawn Restoration

Tired, thin, or weed-choked lawns get a full reset — compost topdressing, soil amendments, and a seeding plan tuned to your yard, not a one-size bag.

  • 1/4" to 1/2" screened compost topdressing
  • Soil testing and pH correction when needed
  • Grading touch-ups on low spots and washouts
  • Weed pressure plan for the following season
05 / April – Early May

Spring Cleanups

We open the season by clearing what winter left behind so the turf, beds, and hardscape are ready for the first mow and the first guests.

  • Leaf, stick, and debris removal — lawn and beds
  • Bed edging refreshed to a clean trench line
  • Perennial cutbacks and ornamental grass haircuts
  • Light dethatch rake where snow mold has matted
06 / October – November

Fall Cleanups

Heavy leaf load, blower work, and a final mow that puts the yard to bed properly. Done right, spring is half the work.

  • Multiple visits through peak leaf drop if needed
  • Full removal — no mulching leaves into the turf
  • Perennial cutbacks and bed clearing
  • Final shorter cut and gutter-line sweep
07 / Weekly, May – October

Mowing Services

A consistent crew, sharp blades, and the same cut height every week. Edges trimmed, walks blown clean, clippings handled the way your lawn needs.

  • 3.5"–4" cut height to shade out crabgrass
  • Blade sharpening on a strict rotation
  • String-trimming, edging, and full blow-down each visit
  • Bagging available on request
