01 / Year-round

Landscape Design & Master Planning

A full-site or phased plan that accounts for sun patterns, drainage, soil types, and how you actually use your outdoor space — built before the first shovel hits the ground.

  • Site survey with soil, slope, and light analysis
  • Conceptual sketches and 3D-style planting layouts
  • Phased installation plan to fit budget over multiple seasons
  • Native-forward plant palette tuned to USDA Zone 4b
02 / Spring & Fall

Tree, Shrub & Perennial Installation

Properly sourced, properly planted. We dig the right hole for the right root system so new material survives its first winter and thrives for decades.

  • Balled-and-burlapped, container, and bare-root stock sourced from local growers
  • Root flare exposed and mulch rings kept off the crown
  • Companion planting for pollinator and habitat value
  • Watering and establishment care instructions provided
03 / Spring – Early Summer

Pollinator & Native Gardens

Replace sterile turf edges and over-mulched beds with layered native plantings that feed bees, butterflies, and birds while cutting long-term maintenance.

  • Milkweed, blazing star, bee balm, and echinacea installations
  • Bloom-sequence planning for color from April to October
  • No-mow or reduced-mow edge alternatives where appropriate
  • Habitat value documented for pollinator pathway and watershed programs
04 / Spring & Fall

Mulching & Bed Renovation

Old mulch breaks down, weeds creep in, and edges blur. We reset beds with the right depth, clean borders, and a finished look that holds through the season.

  • 2–3 inch hardwood or cedar mulch application (never volcano mulching)
  • Bed edge re-cut with a crisp shovel trench line
  • Weed suppression with pre-emergent and hand-pulling
  • Thinning and dividing overgrown perennials as part of the visit
05 / Spring, Summer & Fall

Seasonal Color Rotations

High-impact annual and ornamental installations swapped out three times a year to keep entry beds, containers, and focal points looking intentional and fresh.

  • Spring: pansies, violas, ranunculus, and cool-tolerant fillers
  • Summer: drought-tolerant annuals in full-sun beds; coleus and impatiens in shade
  • Fall: ornamental kale, chrysanthemums, and grass accents
  • Container design included for porches, patios, and commercial entries
